SiteNOC — short for "Website Network Operations Center" — is a native iOS app that makes websites understandable on a technical, content and structural level. It is aimed at web designers, SEO agencies, freelancers, businesses, online shops, and anyone who wants to know what could be improved about their website.

In SiteNOC you create projects, check websites, identify problems, derive concrete tasks from them, and create professional reports. The app is not only for technically experienced users, but for anyone who wants a clear, action-oriented view of their website or their clients' websites.

Every website, subdomain or web service endpoint can be created as its own project – subdomains are correctly treated as independent projects, not reduced to the main domain.

SiteNOC checks whether a website is reachable and evaluates the most important technical signals of a connection.

• HTTP status & response time — how fast a page responds and with which status code
• Redirects — redirects are detected and displayed in a traceable way
• HTTPS & TLS/SSL errors — encryption and certificate problems are evaluated
• Technical connection issues — DNS, timeout and reachability errors are clearly identified
• Subdomains correctly supported — a subdomain is checked as its own address, not as part of the main domain

Projects can be checked locally on a regular basis. If SiteNOC detects a problem, the app can trigger a local notification – provided iOS allows this for the app.

SiteNOC analyzes a page's most important SEO fundamentals and shows where there is still potential.

SiteNOC can crawl websites locally and analyze several pages at once – for a more complete picture than a single-page check.

Google rankings for selected keywords can be checked directly in SiteNOC. This connects to the external service DataForSEO – the credentials for it are stored locally in the iOS keychain, not on a Bavarian Code server.

SiteNOC supports either OpenAI or Anthropic. Here too: API keys are stored exclusively locally in the keychain. At relevant points in analyses and individual fields, AI buttons are available that generate concrete suggestions, for example:

Tasks can be created directly from the problems identified in an analysis. This turns a snapshot into a practical, traceable action plan.

SiteNOC also supports a range of technical checks that would usually require several separate tools.

• SSL certificate details — validity, issuer and other certificate information

SiteNOC is available in German, English, Spanish and French. The language can be selected in the app's settings.

Many of SiteNOC's functions run locally on the iPhone – without transmitting data to a Bavarian Code server. External services are only used where they are functionally necessary.

SiteNOC can be tried out for free with the full feature set. Anyone managing more than three projects can unlock an unlimited number of projects with SiteNOC Pro – a one-time purchase, no subscription.

Projects that have already been deleted do not free up a new project slot in the free version.
